Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
HeyBoring Agent is built for legitimate B2B cold outbound — landscapers emailing HOAs, HVAC operators emailing property managers, the kind of boring-business-to-boring-business pipeline the world actually runs on. It's not for sending things people don't expect, didn't ask for, and have no reasonable connection to your business.
You may not use the Service to
- Send email that violates US CAN-SPAM, Canadian CASL, EU GDPR + ePrivacy, or any applicable anti-spam law in the recipient's jurisdiction.
- Send email to addresses you obtained by scraping unrelated public sources, leaked data, or contact lists you bought without confirmed opt-in.
- Send email to consumers (B2C) without their prior consent. The Service is built for B2B cold outbound; consumer outreach is out of scope.
- Misrepresent the sender, the company, or the purpose of the email. The "From" name and signature must be a real person at a real company.
- Continue emailing addresses on your suppression list. Once a recipient unsubscribes, the agent stops; if you find a way to re-add them, you're violating both CAN-SPAM and these terms.
- Send phishing, malware, sexual, hateful, or harassing content.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or wrap the Service as a competing product without our written permission.
- Operate so many concurrent tenants from the same Stripe account or Gmail that it has the practical effect of running an email-sending farm.
Enforcement
If we believe you're violating this policy, we may pause your tenant immediately and contact you to investigate. Material or repeated violations may result in termination without refund. We will cooperate with law enforcement when legally compelled.
Reporting
If you received an email from a HeyBoring-powered tenant that you believe violates this policy, report it to hola@heyboring.com with the full email headers. We review every report.
